While the international timber market is still suffering from the effects of the global health crisis, we would like to inform you about the consequences of the events in Ukraine on our activities.
Above all, our thoughts are with the victims and their families.
It is certain that world wood flows will be disrupted and that the French market will not be spared. As things stand, we are unfortunately unable to assess the impact precisely.
The raw material increases that we have been experiencing for several months after the short lull at the end of last year are already becoming obsolete.
Therefore, we are giving ourselves a few more days to better assess the effects of the current situation. We believe we will be able to come back to you in one or two weeks with more precise information, which will however be likely to evolve in line with current events.
All our teams are mobilised to anticipate events as best they can. However, we would like to reassure you that the ISB Group relies on the supply of raw materials from many European players, starting with our main Scandinavian partners with whom we have daily exchanges in managing this situation.
